Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Lyracut processes when you use the web app, native iPhone and iPad app, Premiere Pro plugin, and related editing services.

Last updated: July 24, 2026

Information we process

We process account details such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, plan status, and support messages. We also process the projects, media, transcripts, edit instructions, generated assets, and timeline data you choose to provide to Lyracut.

We collect limited device, browser, diagnostic, and usage information needed to secure the service, operate subscription entitlements, investigate failures, and improve product reliability. The Premiere Pro plugin stores a revocable device session in Adobe secure storage; it does not receive or store your Lyracut password.

How information is used

We use information to provide editing, transcription, generation, export, support, billing, fraud prevention, and account administration. Project content is sent to service providers only when needed to perform a feature you request.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use private project media to advertise to you. Automated systems may analyze submitted content to produce requested edits and to detect abuse or operational failures.

Service providers and payments

For features you request, Lyracut may use OpenAI for Live Voice; Google Gemini through Vercel AI Gateway or OpenRouter for editing, planning, and media analysis; ElevenLabs for transcription, voice, and audio; and fal.ai, Kie.ai, Higgsfield, or a HeyGen account you connect for optional media generation and enhancement. We also rely on contracted infrastructure, authentication, storage, support, and security providers. Each provider receives only the information needed to perform the selected feature and processes it under its own security and privacy obligations.

Payments and affiliate payouts are handled by Stripe. Lyracut receives subscription, transaction, connected-account capability, and payout status but does not store complete payment-card or bank-account numbers. Affiliate payout recipients provide identity, tax, and bank information directly to Stripe Connect.

Affiliate attribution

When you follow an active affiliate link, Lyracut records the affiliate code, campaign source, click time, and limited anti-abuse data. A first-party, HTTP-only attribution cookie lasts up to 60 days and is shared across lyracut.com and app.lyracut.com. If you sign in, the attribution may also be associated with your account so it survives a cross-device or subdomain checkout handoff.

If a referred subscription is created, Lyracut retains the affiliate relationship, subscription and invoice identifiers, commission ledger, refund or dispute adjustments, and payout history. Affiliates see aggregate performance and masked customer email addresses, not full customer payment details. Administrators use this information to manage participants, prevent self-referrals and fraud, reconcile commissions, and operate payouts.

Retention and security

We retain account and project information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Temporary processing files may be removed sooner. Backups and fraud-prevention records may persist for a limited period after deletion. Affiliate financial records may be retained after account deletion when required for payouts, refunds, disputes, tax, accounting, or legal compliance; direct account identifiers are removed or replaced where they are no longer needed.

We use access controls, encrypted transport, scoped credentials, and operational monitoring intended to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security, so keep your account credentials private and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your choices and rights

You may update account information, disconnect the Premiere Pro plugin, cancel a subscription, and request access to or deletion of personal information. Rights vary by location and may be subject to identity verification and lawful retention requirements.

Lyracut is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where required.

International use and changes

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Lyracut or its providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws from your home country.

We may update this policy as the product or law changes. Material updates will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice.
