Getting started
Lyracut turns natural language into a professional cut. Here’s the whole workflow, from upload to export.
1. Create a project
From the dashboard, click New Video and pick your aspect ratio (16:9, 9:16, or 1:1). Everything Lyra generates or finds will match it.
2. Add footage
Upload your clips, or paste a YouTube / Instagram / TikTok / X / Facebook URL to import. Lyra analyzes every clip — scenes, speech, dead space, and quality — in the background.
3. Talk to Lyra
In the chat panel, describe the cut you want in natural language. Lyra plans the edit, explains its choices, and builds the timeline. Ask for captions, music, b-roll, transitions, speed changes — whatever the story needs.
4. Generate vs. search
Finding real footage on the web is cheap; generating new AI clips or images costs more credits. Lyra prefers search for shots that already exist and reserves generation for what can’t be found.
5. Refine on the timeline
Everything Lyra does lands on a real multi-track timeline. Trim, split, reorder, add video/audio layers, and adjust captions by hand — CapCut / Premiere style.
6. Export
Export at your plan’s resolution. Captions, transitions, music fades, and dialogue ducking are all baked into the final file.
